Check Valves

Check valves prevent reverse flow and help protect pumps and pipeline equipment. Corvalve offers Silent (Non-Return), Swing, and Tilting check valve configurations designed for low head loss in normal operation and drip-tight sealing in case of backflow, commonly installed downstream of pump stations.

CHECK VALVE

Non-Return (Silent Type)

Silent (non-return) check valves are designed for unidirectional flow while preventing backflow. A spring-assisted mechanism enables swift closure on flow reversal to minimize water hammer. Designed for minimum head loss and drip-tight sealing, these valves are commonly used downstream of pump stations to protect critical devices.

CHECK VALVE

Swing Check Valve

Swing check valves use a pivoting disc mechanism to prevent reverse flow. Designed for minimum head loss in normal operation and drip-tight sealing in case of backflow, they are commonly used downstream of pump stations to protect crucial devices. Suitable for both horizontal and vertical installations, with optional accessories such as lever and counterweight, spring, limit switch, dashpot (non-slam), and bypass valve (by application).

CHECK VALVE

Tilting Check Valve

Corvalve's Tilting Check Valves are designed for both horizontal and vertical installations in potable water systems. These valves are developed for low head loss in normal operation and drip-tight sealing in case of backflow, commonly used downstream of pump stations. The lever and counterweight design can be supported with optional accessories such as a protection cover, limit switch, and hydraulic damper (dashpot) to support non-slam operation and reduce water hammer risk.
